1. The place at the ends of the earth to which certain favored heroes were conveyed by the gods after death.
2. A place or state of perfect happiness.
A nice way to start up your morning, aside from the weird armour Matt Damon is sporting...I'm intrigued by this new movie directed by Neil Blomkamp...the guy who made the very unique sci-fi film, District 9 few years back.
Elysium hits theaters on August 9th, 2013.

Finally! A first official look at the 23rd Bond film, Skyfall. This will be Daniel Craig's third film as the iconic British secret service agent. I consider myself to be a pretty big 007 fan, having watched all the movies going back to Sean Connery's first appearance as Bond in 1962's Dr. No, Daniel Craig's version of 007 is easily my favorite, although I know alot of hardcore Bond fans would disagree with me. In a year with highly anticipated blockbusters such as The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, Skyfall was the one that I'm patiently waiting for. Having had a very strong start with Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace proved to be a huge disappointment in the eyes of many critics (It's weird, I also hated it when I first saw it in the theaters but after multiple viewings on Blu-Ray, I've actually grown to really enjoy it) so needless to say, Skyfall could be Daniel Craig's last chance to win back the hearts of the fans and critics, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
According to IMDB.com, here's the synopsis for Skyfall: Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As
MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no
matter how personal the cost.
Honestly, doesn't tell too much about the film and same can be said about the "Teaser" trailer below. However, with a strong cast including, Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men), Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter films) and Oscar-winner Director, Sam Mendes (American Beauty), all Bond fans should be hopeful and excited for Skyfall—I know I am.
As we approach closer to the release date of the probably the most anticipated film of this year, here is the third official trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. I can't help but feel nervous every time I see cat woman on screen. I'm still not sold on her and the flying bat jet seems a bit much? I have to say, I'm a little disappointed with the trailer but having said that, all answers will be revealed on July 20th, 2012 and in the meantime...in Nolan we trust!
Check out the trailer below:
The Dark Knight Risesdirected by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordan-Levitt, Marion Cottilard and many more arrives in theatres on July 20th, 2012.
"What would you do, if you had to hunt down and kill your future self?"
New movie, Looper directed by Rian Johnson (Brick) stars Joseph Gordan Levitt and Bruce Willis. The story takes place in the near future where time travel is a common thing. The movie centres around the main character Joe that is played by both Levitt and Willis. Confused yet? Levitt plays an assassin named Joe who travels in time to kill his future self played by Willis. Why would you want to kill your future self? Apparently, future Joe has turned into a pretty evil guy. Sounds like a pretty interesting concept, but like most recent sci-fi movies we've seen, good concepts without proper execution are just that—a good concept (see In Time). Let's hope I'm proven wrong.
Check out the video below as Director Rian Johnson and actor, Joseph Gordan Levitt discuss about the film, Looper.
Looper arrives in theatres on September 28th, 2012
Two words. Freaking Hilarious. From the creator of The Family Guy, Seth MacFarlane brings us his very first live action comedy, Ted. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter), Mila Kunis (Friends with Benefits) and MacFarlane (also the director of the film) as the voice of the talking titular teddy bear, Ted.
[Warning NSFW: The trailer contains alot of hilarious cursing so please make sure you have your headphones on if you're watching it at work.]
Yup, you're eyes aren't playing tricks on you. I'm actually posting the trailer for the movie, Step Up Revolution. Corny, full of cheese, predictable story, no name actors BUT say what you will, these movies are always so damn fun to watch! #guiltypleasures
Step Up Revolution (or Step Up 4) will be in theatres on July 27th, 2012
